A level sensor provides information about the liquid levels within tanks or other containers.
Level measurements are carried out mechanically, optically, capacitively or resistively, ultrasound, but also using (guided) radar.
In caravans and mobile homes, measurements are usually carried out using capacitive or resistive sensors that are inserted vertically into the tank from above and screwed on. The measurement data is converted into either current (4 .. 20 mA) or voltage values (0 .. 10 V). The values determined reflect the current fill level.
Up to four sensors can be connected to the Victron GX Tank 140 connected and about that Victron Cerbo GX System, or the one connected to it Victron Touch Panel 70 (50) or Victron Color Control GX.
The fill levels are configured and displayed on the connected screen.
